Smart manufacturing has taken off, reflecting emerging global smart automatic production trends. Dedicated to state-of-the-art technology manufacturers, 2018 Taipei Intelligent Machinery & Manufacturing Technology Show (iMTduo) will be held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 from May 9th to 12th, highlighting smart automation equipment and industrial 4.0 related innovative products and technologies.

According to TAITRA, iMTduo is the top choice for domestic and foreign professional buyers as well as an important platform toward mutual exchange between mechanical enterprises with complete smart manufacturing solutions. For example, ITRI will showcase smart production lines applicable to machine tools, PCB and transportation tools, and assist local machinery manufacturers in introducing the Internet of Things (IoT), visible production management and Smart Machine Box (SMB), as well as leading industrial development in Taiwan and boosting international competitiveness.

Major domestic and foreign manufacturers include: smart machine tool companies FEMCO, CHMER, MAZAK; automation and inspection equipment companies, Mitsubishi, DYNA, LYEDM, Mitutoyo, Marposs; mechanical arm companies FANUC, Evermore, Renishaw, Pitotech; 3D printing companies RATC, SolidWizard; software system companies CTCI ASI, OITC; who together provide a one-stop service platform for smart machinery.

In parallel, the exhibition will also feature the iMTduo summit, which will gather global industrial leaders including Rockwell Automation, Mitsubishi, and the Robot Resolution Initiative from Japan, to discuss future industrial trends, canvassing four major topics: 'smart factory', 'IoT', 'industrial robot' and 'additive manufacturing'. Executive Vice President of Mitsubishi Electric in Taiwan Mr. Tamai Takeshi will deliver a presentation on "What does the use of IoT's e-F@ctory bring to the manufacturing industry?" to help Taiwanese businesses in developing IoT and technological support.

Additionally, the 2018 Taipei iMTduo will welcome school teachers and students to strengthen their technological education through observation, and to cultivate smart mechanical talents. Interested schools should download the visitor application form from the Latest News tab on the exhibition website (www.imtduo.com.tw).

Local and foreign companies should register in advance on the Visitor Registration page of the exhibition's official website. Registered participants can present their booking confirmation QR Code and two business cards onsite, and may exchange the pass for free entrance. There will also be unique opportunities to win a gift.
